I got a letter in the mail today and I thought I was going to scream. My mother entered one of my recipes in a cooking contest and didn’t tell me. Now they want me to fly out to Orlando for the contest! I can’t believe it! They are going to pay for everything, including a 2 day pass to Disney. I am so excited. The funny thing is it isn’t even my best chicken recipe, just a classic with a twist. I am giving mom a hard time about it though. They will pay for 2 people to fly out, and I told Mom I was going to have to think about who I was taking. She has called me every 15 minutes since I told her the news. I think I will let her sweat another hour, then call her so we can make plans.

Recently I read news on one of the Davidson roofer who died in an accident while working. It was really tragic news.
