Builder Suggests Radiant in Floor Heat for New Home
27 March 2009
When my husband and I began looking over plans for our new home, one of the biggest decisions we had to make was what type of heating system we wanted. Natural gas, propane, oil, and electric heat systems all have their advantages and disadvantages. The systems are not overly expensive to install, but the cost of using natural gas, propane, and oil fluctuates according to the price of a barrel of oil. When we discussed this with our builder, he suggested an alternative method of heating. He asked if we had ever heard of Radiant In Floor Heat? We had, but were not sure how it worked.
