Is Using an Online Car Insurance Estimator The Best Way to Find Affordable Insurance Policy for Women?

I am middle aged, and believe it or not, I just recently got my drivers license.  The hardest part for me was finding a reliable insurance agency in my town that would accept women drivers and be affordable.  While searching online for other possibilities, I found companies that offer car insurance online.  There was even a car insurance estimator, that when I entered in my numbers, it calculated my premium in a fraction of a second.  Another great feature is that the insurance cost the same weather you are a male or female.  This way was so easy and convenient.  According to what my friends say, I am paying a lot less money than they are.
