Ever since I was twelve, I wanted to be like Arnold. He was my hero. Along with all the comic book heros I looked up to. All of them were very muscular and fit. Me, being a kid, wanted to be just like them. So, like a mad man I started reading everything I could about gaining muscle mass. Once I got the information I needed, I started working out like crazy. Over time, I put on about 20lbs of muscle on my scrawny one-hundred-forty pound frame. I’m not exactly Arnold now, but hey, I look pretty good. And even more important, I’m happy with my results.

A couple of days ago, my sister called me and asked if I could help her out.  I told her that I would do anything that was in my power.  She had just had a baby, and she was a little scared because her husband was on the road.  She told me that the baby had gastro colic, and she wondered if there was anything that she could do to help.  I told her that I had some remedies that would probably help out, so I went over there to assist her.  My wife and our three year old came along as well.

When I first became a diabetic, I was told I would need to buy certain supplies to check and control my blood sugar levels. One of these machines being a glucometer, or as it is also known as a glucose meter. I found out this was to be used to test my blood sugar levels, so I can understand how much insulin to give. The way a glucose meter tests your sugar is that it gets a drop of blood from yourself, that is put on a blood glucose test strip. Normally the test strip is first inserted into the glucose meter, and when the meter tells you, you put the drop of blood into the test strip. After a few seconds it provides you with your measured blood sugar level.
