Most that are close to me know that I’m a fan of Rob Bell’s work. I know there are some that don’t like him - and that’s the cost of being a big name in Christian subculture (there’s people that didn’t like Billy Graham, but that doesn’t lessen any of his accomplishments). I don’t even agree with everything Rob talks about, but I still appreciate his work and the words he has to say. He makes me think. And I believe we all need to think a little bit more than we do now. And sometimes that thought causes me to say random things. Like when I first started reading Velvet Elvis. I love reading, especially with a cup of coffee on my bedside table, freshly brewed on my breville coffee Maker.

We nearly lost Anna when I accidentally slipped in the bathroom.  Luckily, both the baby and I survived the accident and I was able to give birth to my daughter Anna five days ago.  A day after I gave birth, my husband and I had girl birth announcements printed to herald the arrival of Anna in our lives.

Our friends and family were so worried when I had an accident.  I know that they will be happy to receive the girl birth announcements for Anna that we are going to send out today.  And they will be glad to know that I had a safe delivery.

Anna is an angel in our lives and she really looks like one.  We are proud to have such beautiful and adorable baby.  And I am just thankful that she finally arrived in our lives.  I now feel complete.
