Acid Reflux Signs
The most prominent sign of acid reflux is a burning sensation felt in the chest after eating something rich in oil or spices. Additional signs include sore throat, acid regurgitation, bad breath, yellow teeth, dry cough, bitter taste in the mouth, hoarse breathing and so the symptoms continue. Many people go to the ER thinking that these painful symptoms could be a sign of an impending heart attack. Of course that is the right thing to do in order to rule out anything more serious. Chest pain and acid reflux are very similar but with the burning sensation, this pain seems to be radiating from the center of the chest which makes one think it is coming from the heart. Learning to tell the difference between a heartburn symptom and heart related chest pains will help in determining the best medical intervention to take.
