Leaving Better Memories

I watched my father die of an illness that could have been prevented.  Why did he not seek a doctor’s care?  He was uninsured and did not want a lot of medical bills.  Instead, he let his treatment go until it was too late to save his life.  If only he had understood that he had options.  Now that I am approaching retirement age, I am looking into Blue Cross Medicare.  When my time to stop working comes, I will have the same quality health coverage that I now have through my employer.  My kids will not be left with the heartache of knowing I let my health deteriorate due to lack of medical attention.
