What are some of the symptoms of anxiety?

Some of the anxiety symptoms that are most common include:  Sweating, short of breath, heart pounding, trembling, choking feeling, dizziness, and nausea.  You feel panicky and anxious with no real, actual reason for this scary feeling.

These feelings are very intense and build up immediately then leave almost as quickly.  When the panic attack dissipates, you still may have feelings of fatigue, restlessness, muscle tension, and may have trouble sleeping.

These stressful feelings are part of our daily lives unless they become exaggerated in anxiety or panic disorders.  When you cannot bare to leave your house because you just know the sky will fall, or you are so afraid to drive your car you take the bus instead, these are warning signs that you need some kind of professional help.
