Looking for some good board games

I always loved playing board games when I was growing up, and my brother and sister and I spent a lot of time playing them. These days it seems like kids don’t get this experience very often. They are either watching tv or playing video games, which just isn’t the same thing as far as I am concerned. I would really like to find some good traditional board games that I could get to try to get my kids into something a little less reliant on technology. A lot of these board games teach skills that you don’t learn in video games.
