Potluck Humdrum
Potlucks, church suppers, funeral food, it seemed every week I was asked to make food for something else. I had my old faithful recipes: chicken casserole, ravoli, tuna salad. After awhile even I got tired of the same old same old. Thumbing through a recipe book in search for something new to try, I came across a shrimp salad recipe. Id never tried shrimp before. True, it was a little out of my casserole recipe comfort zone, but not too far out and besides I was ready for a change. That night I was the queen of the potluck line!
