This blu-ray writer is one of the good disc burners from Lenovo. This device supports Windows and OSX operating systems. The disc burner is capable of reading and writing a blu-ray disc at 4X speed and blu-ray rewritable disc at 4X speed. It is backward compatible and capable of working with many formats DVD, DVD-R, CD, dual layer discs etc. The speed ranges from 24X for reading CDs and 24X for writing, 8X for regular DVDs and 4X for DVD rewritable. This device an- internal blu-ray burner can be connected via SATA connection. The burner performs decently, but the main limitation is that it is expensive.
